We breed American cattle, specifically curated for our program, with Tajima Kuroge Washu bulls.

The Tajima strain of the Kuroge Washu (or Japanese Black) is considered best-of-breed and is where the WinterFrost story begins. We cross these bulls, famous for their intramuscular marbling, with select American cattle to create luxurious beef that is buttery, beefy, and tender, with the healthy characteristics inherent in Wagyu.

Born and raised in the United States, our cattle are fed premium, vegetarian, whole grains and are not given growth promotants or hormones of any kind.
